PATH






A few days back I received a mail on writing poems. I would like to share this naive attempt.

Path
A path in everybody’s mind
Beckons to destinations beyond
Call it nirvana, ultimate desire or dream

A path spurs us on to goals
Lead us progressively
One peak to another

Unseen path, we feel lost
Emerges the true spirit of man
A way is found or built

Reflective Ultimate realization
that impossible made possible.

Lovely thoughts!! Yes, the path untrodden, unseen always evokes the feeling of being challenged & that's what brings the joy when you overcome. Well written!!

Your first attempt has been so soooper successful in conveying the message it wants to... really nice nandy... totally loved it..

Loved the lines...

The words are simple.. but definitely those are the times when a man's true spirits are tested..

My first trek to kodachadri

I was very anxious about this trek because it was raining heavily from the past 2-3 days not only in Bangalore but also all over Karnataka .At the same time I was also excited because it was my first trek with my hubby and cousins. We started off to kodachadri on October 1st at around 8:30 pm in one of the KSRTC buses and reached Nittur early morning next day .The locals there warned us about the heavy rains and mist at Kodachadri.Having breakfast in one of the hotels we were off to kodachadri. This time I thought I will write some ‘Haiku ‘ on how I felt from beginning till the end of my trip to coorg Dec 2009 While we reached coorg Green Green Colored trees leaves sway Joyful my way early Morning at coorg Morning breeze Pleasant freeze Reflecting The same day we visited ‘Navodaya ‘which in English means new beginning.                                                                   Aoraki the guardian Maori legend believed that   Aoraki was a young boy who, along with his three brothers, were the sons of Rakinui , the Sky Father.   And papatuanuku ,the earth mother They once planned a voyage on sea   to visit their earth mother and disaster struck them .Their boat got stranded on the ocean .To save themselves they climbed upon the boat and the cold   south winds froze them turning them to stone ..   the great land was born.
